Apparently many more women than before are delivering their babies at home. According to a recent article from Lamaze International, there is about a 30 percent increase in home births. Some of the reasons to stay at home, rather than visit the hospital, are that women can wear their  own clothes, eat their own food, and they are not restricted by hopital regulations.
Of course, if you go to the hospital you can still bring your own delivery gown, which is almost a must to be truly comfortable. There are still pros and cons to staying at home or delivering at the hospital.
